Personalized Recovery Oriented Services
PROSpect Place (PROS: Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) is a recovery program for adults with psychiatric disabilities. The overall aim is to facilitate participants’ recovery and wellness through a comprehensive array of treatments and recovery services. We hope to provide opportunities to participants to gain support and hope, allowing them to eventually recover, integrate into society, and most importantly, attain their life goals.
Participants discuss with their own PROS counselors to decide their goals and to choose services that would facilitate reaching their goals. Most services are provided in group formats similar to a school curriculum, and participants will be able to experiment and study various skills they need. Through our diverse services, participants can obtain proper help, regardless of their goals being about living, working, education, or social interaction.
To become a participant, one must meet the admission criteria of being 18 years of age or older, with a designated mental illness and a functional deficit due to the severity and duration of mental illness.
Our services are inspiring and interactive, and participant-oriented. Services include vocational and educational assistance, benefits and financial management, relapse prevention, wellness self-management, community living exploration, health assessments, clinical counseling and therapy, individual recovery plans, referral to benefits, community events, computer class, English class and more!
